CONCEPT
« Tu sais ce que c’est la mélancolie ? Tu as déjà vu une éclipse ? Eh bien c’est ça :
la Lune se glisse devant le cœur, et le cœur qui ne donne plus sa lumière. »

Être complice, c’est être sur un même accord : être de connivence avec quelqu’un signifie s’entendre avec une autre personne liée par un élément commun. La complicité se base sur le principe de se faire comprendre immédiatement, sans passer forcément par une communication verbale. Un clin d’œil, un geste, un signe, compris de tout le monde. La notion de noir et de brillant, ajoutés à cela, nous fait rappeler la Lune et le Soleil. Ces deux astres sont complices parce qu’ils partagent le point commun de la lumière, ils nous illuminent, que cela soit de jour ou de nuit. C’est avec simplicité, élégance et poésie que nous voulons traduire cette connivence entre le Soleil et la Lune, ces deux astres indispensables à nous tous.

CONCEPT
« Do you know what’s melancholy? Have you ever seen an eclypse? Here it is:
the moon slips before the heart, and the heart doesn’t give its light anymore. »

What is complicity? Complicity means to agree each other. It means to be understood immediately, without any oral communication: a wink, a sign, understood by everyone. About the words « black » and « shiny », we thought about the Moon and the Sun.
They are complice because they share one common point: the light. They enlighten,
during the day or the night, by sharing the sky according to the different hours of the day. The lunar eclipse changes with time, but the Sun and the Moon still stay partners.
Our lamp is called « Éclat » (« Shine »). This moon-shaped lamp lights up when you open it. It’s with simplicity, elegance and poetry that we wanted to express the complicity of these two stars essential to all of us.
